3:30pm - The trip begins!!! C picked me up from work and we headed straight out of town. We had a lot of driving to do as our destination was about eight hours away in Santa Rosa, NM. The trip was pretty uneventful. We had some rain leaving town and saw what looked like some hail on the ground in the mountains. We pulled into the hotel, Super 8, about 1:30-2am. Both of us were just exhausted and fell asleep almost as quickly as our heads hit the pillows. That is a beautiful thing!
